Nintendo's conversation with Ubisoft: N: "Hey Ubisoft! Can you develop a model for Rayman so we can use him as a Trophy in our game?" U: "Sure! We'll waste money and resources to create a still 3D model of him!" Something seems wrong... Why develop a model yourself Ubi when he's only a trophy? Must mean one thing... Rayman confirmed playable!

    Why doing a 3D model of Rayman would cost money!? In fact Ubisoft made the 3D model and Sakurai expected a 2D model.
