There should be a section for Casual Players in Battle Spot or something. Maybe if you select "Random Matchup", it will give you the options "Casual Battle" and "Competitive Battle". Something along those lines because I am tired of wanting to battle online and then be put up against what seems like the same teams over and over again (and constantly losing to them).

    its a good idea, but i can imagine competitive battlers abusing this for cheap wins. not to say thats a good enough reason for it not to exist but itd probably drive a lot of people away from it

    That's a good point and I actually was thinking about that while I was typing, but if my idea were to become true, I would hope that they'd put something in place to prevent that. Plus it's gotta be better than losing EVERY battle.

    im not sure if there is any way to prevent it. i was thinking maybe if it were like the battle chateau and people could access higher ranks depending on how many wins they have, but if going back to lower ranks was enabled then competitive players may still take advantage of it, and if you couldnt casual players may end up in higher ranks they dont like with no way out other that losing on purpose
