    It helps to observe anime more closely, particularly the shapes that make up the eyes, face, ect. If you can get the proportions right, it'll make it a lot easier. It also helps to look at rl examples such as your own hands. That's how I basically learnt. There's also a lot of anime art sort of lessons you can find easily on youtube (that's if you find it too difficult to self teach).

    Oh yeah I found anime difficult too when I started drawing anime characters >_< I used to always draw in a cartoonish style and mostly animals (either realistic or cartoonish). But yeah it takes getting used to. The most helpful thing that helped me get better at it was to get used to seeing how different anime use different styles and learning to proportion everything right with shapes. Hard top

    Yeah when you are watching the shows instead of drawing them you dont really understand how much difficulty there is in it.
