    Something about bowser size isn't canon, I dunno. People seem to forget that huge characters have already been in fighting games.

    Look at Kraid, Parasite Queen, Ridley and his Meta form, and Mother Brain in the Smash series. They're all at their average size rank of "huge", meaning that the "size doesn't matter" logic doesn't apply to the Metroid series. Plus the series is fine with just the 2 Samuses because of its "feminism" and "mostly alone on yout missions" theme. Ridley's been hinted as a boss hazard 3 times already.
