I personally don't think the Monolith retweet means that much. They did the same thing for all kinds of other announcements... Like when Little Mac was revealed. (Shulk's still probably in though)

    With Little Mac, the guy tweeted stuff about games frequently, not just his own. He also followed up and said he didn't know Little Mac would be revealed then. The guy who re-tweeted the Monday announcement (nicknamed "Modano Monday" now) has made four tweets about games, and all re-tweets. They were all directs that had to do with xenoblade chronicles, counting this one.
