  • Most people will simply pick the fastest sub, and leave it at that, but even with Garfish, there's plenty of opportunity for practice. The first thing to do is take some papers and plan your route through the rings. You want at least 5 different routes, but a dozen or so is better. It's okay to just start with 3.

  • Run through the different routes a few times, until the time stabilizes. Then put on various crews, and see how the crew will affect the time. This will give you understanding how the crew actually affect the handling.

  • The most important thing is to not have any expectation at all. To just try out different combinations just to see what happens. Experiment freely!

  • Practice snap shooting while you're at it. Snap your submarine to an underwater mine, shoot your torpedo without aiming, and snap your sub back to the line. This skill will serve you well in close combat situations.

  • Snap shooting is also related to swing shooting, where you take the shot as you swing your sub from one direction to another. The faster the sub turns, the more difficult it is to do. Yet you must practice the skill if you wish to survive against skilled opponents.

  • Don't worry. Take it easy. Go from slow sub to fast ones, as your skill improves. See you in the water. May your boat always floats.

  • If it's just normal play, you don't need me. If you want special training session, you need Spy crew, and put Ħ symbol before your name. If you're in a clan, just ask other clan member to engage you in training sessions.
