    Gameplay is different than past Mario Party games. It's no longer "Have the most Stars and Coins!". Boards each have unique objectives (that usually sum up to "reach the end of the board first").

    Thanks for replying, guys. I don't think i'm gonna be getting this game.. no competing over who has the most stars? sounds boring..

    There is one board where you need the most Mini Stars, but again, it's not like the earlier Mario Party games.
