  • Someone is uncomfortable with their sexuality. Maybe you shouldn't deal with it on Miiverse.

    Yeahs1
  • Once I saw this perverted drawing of Zero Suit Samus and the artist kept making up ridiculous excuses like "it's ice cream on her head" and "the metroid is doing exercises with her". Everyone becomes disgusting. So I have no problem with bikinis or a day about bikinis, but I do have a problem with perverts.

  • Still, you shouldn't delete people's comments. That's not cool. Freedom of speech. Even so, you're speakin' the truth. Whether the problem is religion or not, p•rn is still wrong. (not saying bikinis are p•rn, but I mean stuff that, like, The Trav posts.)

  • Thanks to all of you who are supporting me. You're right, I wasn't acting fairly. I'll try harder to keep my temper under control.

    Yeahs1
  • There's a community for children and it has girls in bikinis so I Bikini Day is just fine as long as the post are not TOO exposive.

  • @Darth Gatr Your welcome. :D

  • Wait a minute, so a fictional woman can't wear a bikini, but a real life woman can? Not to be rude because I don't want you to delete my perfectly valid counterargument, but that's messed up.

    Yeahs4
  • I'm not really saying that. The message these pictures send is what's wrong, Nicole.

  • I agree with you @Darth, I wish not so many people, not all of them, would make @Darth this stress from 1 simple comment.

    Yeahs1
  • People will post what they post, whether there is a time frame for it or not. It is just more noticeable if it happens all at once. I agree with you, Darth, on the fact that there should be some standards on Miiverse, though not quite as strict as you might prefer. Limits can be good, because they give the content a unified characteristic, and ppl who wish to draw art without those limits can ---

  • bring their artistic talents to other sites/forums. However, limits, if too extreme or specific, can be offensive as well. People vary in preference, and, unfortunately, you can't appease one demographic without upsetting another. Finding a middle ground is key, here. So, trust Nintendo to do what they can to protect the community, and use the features they gave you to help them with that.

  • What message are you getting from pictures of characters in bikinis? Also you lost your temper, that's why you were deleting comments? That makes you look worse because it implys you lost your temper from seeing people with different opinions. You sound like you're really full of it. lol

  • Report what you find that offends you AND breaks Nintendo's rules, and do what you can talk with those who have offended you and find out why they did what they did. Jumping to conclusions based on one person's assumption is often a dangerous and impolite way of going about things. Thank you for reading this long comment stream, and please take your time in considering my message. Have a good day.

  • You see it as innapropriate fanservice, as I see it as girls just having fun at the beach.

Seriously though, what in the living mushroom is Bikini Day about? Is it some sort of meme or a summer trend?

    Yeahs0
  • @Nicole It's not as big a deal in real life, (there's little that we can do about that). But, it's worse when people (in piticular guys[not being sexist]) lust and fantasize over pictures of other people in little-to-no clothes. Lust is sinful regardless, but the latter is worse.
