    i've played all the lego games (mostly on the Xbox 360) and i have to agree that the earlier games are way better!!!

    Really, once LEGO Star Wars II came out, the games became impossible to beat. SO repetitive. You really expect me to play the same levels again and again to get what is it, 200 Gold Bricks. No chance. The first one was perfect.

    i feel that, after lego batman two, the changes in gameplay and the addition of real voice dialogue really made for a very different gaming experience. often times i would say to myself "why am i playing this totally frustrating game????" answer is simple. i am a fan of all the movies the games are based on.

    If they could've added voice and just kept the gameplay, that would've been fine with me. But nooooooo, they had to go and make the games impossible to beat.

    though i am way more fantical about star wars, my favorite lego game is the lego batman. sooooooo cute and really fun. kind of clitchy though. i love how there is a heroes campaign and a villains campaign.

    I honestly thought they got better.gamers today need a little more challenge,and a bit more adventure,which is why LEGO did all of this.I honestly don't know why everyone's complaining about the new flying mechanic.I got it pretty straight down.I completed Indiana Jones,Hobbit,Batman,MARVEL,Pirates, and Harry Potter.
