Sonic Adventure through Sonic 2006 were the best of all Sonic games. They had open levels, complex stories, good gameplay, good themes, the best voice actors, and no side scrolling. Modern games fail!

    Let's not debate Sonic 06. My point is that ever since Sonic Unleashed, the games have gotten worse and worse. Mainly the new voice actors and the over use of side scrolling in the modern 3-D age.

    My main problem with Colors and Generations was the story. Both games had little to no story value whatsoever. All you had for story was a handfull of short scenes that said next to nothing.

    Uhhh...the voice acting wasn't always that great in the previous games. In Adventure 1; Sonic sounded too old and his "Watch out Tails, you're going to crash. Ahhhh." line was poorly done.

    Let's not forget how old Rouge sounded when the 4kids actress voiced her, how Tails sounded too much like a girl, The infamous "find the computer room!" line, or Jason's rough performance early on.

    The only more recent choices in terms of casting that need to be replaced are Cindy Robinson (Amy Rose) and Kirk Thorton (Shadow).

    By the way, compkex stories are not akwats good. Did people enjoy the story in Sonic 06 or Shadow's game? No! Really, the story has hardly been part of the series strength. Only SA2 had a good story.

    Not saying they can't give the other characters more important roles again ir mature the dialog up a bit more; but focusing too much on the story might just repeat history; Sonic's dark ages.

    I never had a problem with the old voice actors, maybe the writing wasn't the best, but even if they weren't the best actors, at least we were used to them. I liked the story from 06 and Shadow.
