    Odd that 3DS users aren't allowed to exchange FCs (presumably because there's voice chat?), but Wii U users can send friend requests and then video chat. Seems like more potential for abuse there.

    I guess the logic is that Wii Us are going to tend to be in the living room, where parents can keep an eye on it, while the 3DS could be anywhere. Still, seems pretty inconsistent.
