Used nearly every resource available (cloak, tag, all my food, had 8/5 flints going in...frogs & shuriken were thrown; interruptions at best). Did my restoration mid-battle count as a defeat?

    Finished off the final boss with special attack. Misguidedly went into Expert Mode, so now I'll be lucky to even get to the second boss...
