    How exactly did you messed up on the Water Temple? You can't do that and start over again. It makes no sense at all.

    well i pulled a block right up to the entrance of a room and i couldn't get in later on and couldn't do anything

    Well I don't know what part of the temple was it. But what I know is that Zelda dungeons are design to always find a way. It's IMPOSSIBLE to get stuck on a dungeon.
