Nevermind, I figured it out. I couldn't figure out how to counter the charge attack. I just had to push harder.

Try pushing harder and don't worry about swiping AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. You still need to swipe fairly fast, but not as fast as you might think. I had the same problem.
