    Reason I asked is because I bought an adapter to connect my GameCube controller to a Wiimote, and would be pretty tight if I could use it to play.

    Not such a stupid question. It'll probably use the Wii U Pro Controller. I don't think anything's been said yet though.

    Nothing's been said so far, I doubt it but since it does use the Wiimotes the classic controllers might work, just might :p

    I'd be surprised if you couldn't use the Classic Controller in SSB, considering SSBB catered for every controller setup that could be connected to a Wii.

    No word on Classic Controller support yet, but it has been shown that it will support the Wii U Pro Controller.

    I think you can use all old Wii controls. If not there's the Pro Control
