    I guess, but there really isn't a reason a remake would be needed because gen 3 didn't have compatibility issues like gens 1 and 2 did.

    Another interesting tidbit of info is that gold silver and crystal where intended to be direct sequels but still are due to in game events.

    It shouldn't be because of transfering issues that we dont get R/S remakes, besides gamefreak been teasing R/S since HG/SS! also why only blaziken to get a mega? why not the other Hoenn staters?
