Im beginning to think Ninty is shutting down the Wii servers to focus on the WiiU servers. Maybe to even encourage some Wii online players to play on WiiU.

Of course. Just think they are paying for servers for games that no one is buying but downloading. Piracy levels so high on the wii its time to kill it.
