so, noob question but, how does online multi work outside of local? do i need friend codes? also my internet isnt the best so if someone does multiplayer i would suck.

    You don't need friend codes if you're on the WiiU, you just talk to Neko and choose Network/Online. It uses a lobby system.

    Do you have a wii u copy of the game? If so transfer youre data over and do what jask said. If not, download the packet relay tool on wii u and start it.
