    Monster Hunter doesn't quite work like that, I'm afraid. It isn't by monster, there isn't an element chart like in Pokemon. Water does some damage, but lightning does more and dragon is best.

    I have neither of those elements..like I said on my last post,I upgradedm my Chainslaughter to te Rimeblade :l.Plus I forgot to get the Rough Edge..:p.Somehow the ludroth blade works..and the battle..

    You should get tougher armor since ladrith and lagi are crappy against fire attacks, BUUUUT!!! Good luck :)

    Ludroth and Lagiacrus are both weak to fire, so their armors take more damage from fire attacks. It doesn't make that big of a difference, though. Skills then defense then element resistance.
