    The Gold Beanie is such a pain in this game! I tried killing it throughout the game, but I would fight it for a couple of hours, then die. I finally convinced myself that the prize wasn't worth it.

    Yeah I never got to defeat him in Regular Mode but mysteriously beat him 3 times in Hard Mode. The prize is somewhat worth it, as he will give around 4000 exp and a DX bean.
