if you were to create an hybrid weapon from the already existing wepons pre-MH4, what would it be,why and how would it be played? (dont use already hybrid as base, SA & GL)

    i'll start off. i'd create a hammer/HBG hybrid,it be powerful yet flexible. id play it as a status gun then morph to hammer after paralyzing or sleeping.

    i'm thinking a long mace/flail sort of thing..... it'd have ko dmg of a hamer a little more range and attack variety than a hammer, less dmg but still impact dmg and more speed not quite as slow as a

    hammer and a little more ummph than the standard assist/ko of a hunting horn. i see a sort of a ball on the end of a chain attached to a short or long staff doing spins or slams for ko's etc etc.

    the deflect on it'd be funny the ball end would bounce back then fall down. im also seeing momentum attacks bsides spins, perhaps a vault attack starting with a jump then slam midair ur momentum
