So I just defeated Preline and there's two blue exclamation blips, one over Ancheim and one over Florem.Yet, when I go to the towns, I have no clue what to do.

    Both require you to enter the city at night I believe, assuming they're the Performer (Florem) and Time Mage / Spell Sword (Ancheim) asterisks you've yet to find.

    You have to go in at night for those. They are the Time Mage and Spell Fencer (Ancheim) and the Red Mage (Florem). The Florem one you have to go in multiple times.

    it depends on Anchiem. have you gotten the Thief asterisk yet? and in Florem... you have to defeat three others all with asterisks to get to the Red Mage.

    because even with a blue mark, i've gotten his events... but not until i faced the three others did he allow my group to battle him. i'd check a wiki source to see, but i doubt you'd have any trouble.
