nintendo is directly responsible for letting voo foo putting out an incomplete chess game on our beloved wiiu. the wii u deserves a complete & awesome chess game.

truly, voo foo is mostly responsible. this is the exact game that's been on ps3 for a yr. its simply a good port of a half baked game.they didn't even fix the bugs...lol

yahoo chess has live matchmaking and timers on it. that game has been around since the 90s

Nintendo has a really hard time getting any third party support. They are not going to force any kind of strict quality control unless they pay for the game. VooFoo and Ripstone are to blame.

The policy on any 3rd party game on the Wii U is that they can price and sell whatever they want. Nintendo only checks for harmful behaviour.

i have since changed my opinion. the online is like words with friends,up to 6 games at once. not bad. beautiful graphics & smooth gameplay,has local,vs cpu, & online. for 8$ its a great deal!

though implementing live matches like 'yahoo' would hav made this perfect, the fact that i hav a solid,enjoyable chess game on the wiiu really is great! voofoo are indy, & i can forgive easily.

the basic game, for 8$ is all u really need. i like the isle of lewis set just to play around and look at. very nice, & would b costly in real life. i'm amazed really of the visuals &the cpu strength

the local multiplayer is nice also, but u hav to play around trying different sets with different environments, because some sets are too dark on the gamepad with certain environments.

when chess is this good from an indy developer, imagine what the near future is capable of on stronger graphics engines,it will be something to behold. i'm uscf rated & i recommend it. 8$? sold.

I like what it has now, but live international gameplay and speedchess would have gotten me to pay 4-5 times more for this title. If I made it there would be double bug, 2Pscenario, ton of stuff. ijs
