    They certainly did more damage when they swarmed you and started beating you but in 3 they work with other troops to leave you vulnerable while a cannibal or marauder takes you down.

    Unless you were a sentinal. the armor blast killed them easy, then you use the power and recharge your shields. I know why they got rid of that ability!

    Yeah... in ME2, they swarmed you and they were major pain to deal with.
