WHY CAN'T NINTENDO INCOPORATE CHEATS ON THEIR VIRTUAL CONSOLE GAMES? THERE NO REASON WHY THEY CAN'T, IF IT'S GOING TO BE 3 LIVES NO CONTINUES START ALL OVER AT GAME OVER, I WANT INFINITE LIVES!!!!!!!

    You could easily just save scum with your one and only save point. Save when you beat a level, reload when you die. It's just like using savestates, except you only get one.

    Virtual Console is just an emulator that plays a ROM. The games aren't ports and thereby don't receive any changes to their programming.
