Question

What freelancer abilities are worth unlocking? I'm not going to max that class out with tiz but am wondering if there are some lower level abilities worth obtaining.

    I only remember one that you gain on the final levels. It's jb up, that increases the jp won in battles. there's one more that i dont remind now... final stand, i guess

    Divining Rod (3) and Dungeon Master (4) are useful early on and easy enough to learn. JP Up (10) is the best Freelancer has to offer, but you have to get to level ten, which takes a bit of effort.

    JP Up is redundant though since you can easily get the max 999JP through other means. Freelancer's best ability is Mimic which they learn at lv14, so I'd say don't bother unless interested in that.

    I agree with Mayuyu that Divining Rod and Dungeon Master are worth it though.

    Should I have Tiz or Ringabell be the freelancer then? Still trying to wrap my head around who's best for what.

    It doesn't really matter, they all have very similar stats so anyone can be good in any job. For most of the game I just had Tiz levelled a bit in Freelancer for those dungeon abilities.

    Also don't worry about maxing jobs until you have them all, it's a lot easier thanks to a skill from the last job. It's better to get a variety of secondary skills on everyone so experiment!

    Man they sure make ya feel free to explore classes! Love that! To use a support ability, does that character had to have learned it, or any of your characters can unlock sub abilities for everyone?
