What does galactic readiness do exactly? I'm doing a runthrough of the game without multiplayer on the side just to see what happens in the end (I'm down to about 74%).

  • There is a terminal outside of the room where you talk to Hacket and Anderson where you can view your war assets. The galactic readiness % is pretty much the % of effective war assets you have.

  • It shouldn't change anything in the game unless you have hardly any war assets to begin with. In that case, the ending can be a bit different (i won't spoil it).

  • You increase your readiness by playing multiplayer. The higher the percent the more your assets in single player are worth. But as long as you do everything in the game it isn't necessary.

  • I see. I guess I'll stop doing side missions so I can keep my war assets to a minimum. I want to see that different ending. (but I could just youtube it I guess). Thanks for the responses.

  • Keeping war assets low just gives you fewer choices at the end

  • Oh, so regardless of war assets I can always just choose the "worst" ending anyway?

  • There is one thing at the end that changes if you don't have enough assets than the actual endings themselves though

  • As i recall, the one thing that changes is very dark.
