    The Two-Handed ability has nothing to do with hit count. Questions for you - which weapon did you use before this one? Did you recently change classes? Which class are you in?

    Any of those can impact your hit count. So can the enemy's Evasion stat, in case you tested against different enemies before amd after.

    well i had edea as a sword master before. then i made her a knight and gave her that sword. now she only swings 4 times .3.

    Your hit count is affected by your job level. So, if Edea was at a higher job level as a Swordmaster than she is as a Knight now, that's probably why. Level the job more, and that should change.
