    I made Angés as a Red Mage equipped with a white robe, force armlet, and bless sheild. I used bless sheild bc/ it uses Cura when used as a item.

    keep defaulting until he breaks his shield. dont just default before the energy blast but during it too

    1: Heal often. 2: Default the first turn after the eye opens to guard against Energy Burst. 3: Zeus' Wrath/Pantheon's Wrath ignores Defense, use them. 4: If you can, buff your Defense stat a lot.

    4 continued: Protect spells or Performer's Got Your Back helps here. 5: Monk's Pressure Point and Thief's Godspeed Strike ignore Defense, in case you get a chance while Chaugmar's guard is still up.

    If you are going to use a salve-maker and your party have weak defense/magic defense just compound hi-potion & x-potion to apply the reraise effect (when a character dies they automatically are revive
