    If you have internet you could go to the adventurer (save data dude) and do update data, you'll receive guest or other players (who will be in your norende village.)

    If/when you start getting new villagers i recommend putting 3 or more on any project you desire. so far i have been doing all on one to brute force the time down. but it really is just user's choice.
