Get an explosive weapon. The chest is made of mithril. Explosions are the only thing that destroy mithril.

fyi. I'm guessing if you're playing this level in story mode for the first time the way to continue through this level is probably not the chest.

yes I am playing through story mode for my first time do you know how to beet this level? Becuse I got stuck at the part whin you need wood,red gems,and diminds to bild something.

yes but I already beet that level. Now I'm at the part whin the eagles saved Bilbo,dorvs,and Gandalf.And took them to the top of the mountain.
