Yeah, I really appreciate Miyamoto's design! Pikmin is very different from Mario but it has that thing where you notice something new that makes you better every time you try again!

I found that it takes him time to actually ingest a Pikmin, so you can start attacking as he comes at you and as long as you are fast enough he won't eat a single Pikmin. Getting stunned is a problem though
