    Buy the right packs while considering your manifest state. If you go immediately to spectre packs, you will be spending big with minimum gains. Also play on harder difficulties to get more credits to buy packs. I'd recommend going for veteran packs until you've got all the uncommon stuff.

    And getting all the less rare stuff done first the more rare stuff comes, I've gotten gold tier characters from veteran packs
