"Part 3: Final business before the fire temple: getting the nocturne of shadow" of a max % child-only file. Very difficult, but also very rewarding.

Once you do succeed, quickly suspend the software and look up this video on YouTube: OoT 3D: NEW SHADOW TEMPLE EARLY! Watch carefully when the person chooses to return to the warp point. If you do it too soon, you get taken to the actual place you cast the warp point. If you do it too late, you get taken to the cut scene that you’re normally supposed to view.

If you get the timing wrong, reset the software. If you succeed at the timing, child Link will be in the nocturne of shadow cut scene. It starts at the point where Sheik is saying, “Looks like you’re coming around,” and she teaches you the nocturne of shadow. When the scene is over, you get put at the same spot as if you were an adult: the middle of Kakariko village.

This is very exciting, but remember not to save! Otherwise you will lose the megaton hammer…And no doing the fire temple as a kid! A couple of interesting notes: Your farore’s wind warp point is still there, and you have the Kokiri emerald, even though you viewed a different scene.

In the description of the video that I mentioned, the person notes that this particular blue light wrong warp also works for dodongo’s cavern. I had you get the goron ruby, though, because dodongo’s cavern is farther away from Link’s house and you have to unbar the boss door again every time you try. Very annoying.

The video that I mentioned uses farore’s wind on B, which is easier, but you need the megaton hammer, so you can’t have farore’s wind on B. You can do it the same way that the person was doing it in that video, but with the restricted items anywhere glitch. However, I find the setup that I mentioned earlier to be easier.

I think I've done this before. Had to teleport into the cutscene with Farore's Wind wrong warping. I want to say that I stuck the warp point right outside the ranch but I can't remember for sure.

@ dark$tar7x: You can do the walking while talking glitch that I explained in "Part 2: Making preperations for the fire temple". Then see Zelda; after that, Mido will not be blocking the way to the deku tree anymore.

Do you mean that the great fairy that gives you farore's wind won't appear? If so, it's probably because you forgot to get your magic bar from the great fairy on death mountain. You can't get any magic spells until you have a magic bar. Or do you mean that you can't cast farore's wind outside of dungeons?

To use farore's wind where you're not supposed to, you use the restricted items anywhere glitch, which I explained in part 1: getting the megaton hammer on B. Even though it was to get a bomb out, you can use it for some other things, such as farore's wind.

Of course, remember that you have to play zelda's lullaby on the triforce mark in a great fairy fountain to make the great fairy appear.
