Question

Are there any Zelda characters whose genders you couldn't figure out? I always thought one of the women in a house in OoT's Kakiriko Village was a man because the zoomed out graphics made her look like she had a beard.

    As a smaller kid, I thought Navi and Sheik we're boys, because I would skip through dialog & cut scenes. Hence why I always got lost in Zelda games as a kid.

    The first time I played TP I thought the Shaman was a woman. I also thought Grooses black haired partner in SS was a girl.

    I couldn't figure out the fortune teller in Skyward Sword either. I know he has a mustache but for much of the game I wasn't paying attention and would never talk to him.

    Ha! I'm trying to think of some gender confusion I've had during LoZ play and nothing is coming to mind. I really want to join in though, seems like a fun conversation to be a part of. Has there ever been a clearly female Goron?

    Not that I can remember. They must be like the dwarves in Lord of the Rings...I'm really hoping somebody gets that joke. For a Japenese created series there isn't a whole lot of men that look like women and vice versa. Now Final Fantasy on the other hand...
