I didn't mean swap Meta knight for bandana dee, I ment have Kirby, Dedede, Meta knight and Bandana Waddle dee as Kirby reps.

Bandana Dee = epic fail. There are way better/more creative ideas. Prince Fluff, a member of the Squeak Squad, Lololo & Lalala, Rick, Coo, Kine, that painter guy (girl?) from Kirby 64, and just about any playable enemy from Super Star are all examples of alternate options that aren't completely lame the way Bandana Dee is. And that's my final word on the matter. Feel free to disagree, I don't care

Still, I doubt Waddle Dee would make it because of how unpopular he is. I see Ridley or Shulk in Smash before Waddle Dee.

@2BIT Bandana Dee has appeared in 7 Kirby games, more than Prince Fluff, or any of the ones you mentioned
