I was so obsessed with shinesparking, it completely slipped my mind that speed boosting increased jump distance. I spent several hours just aimlessly wandering around and sequence-breaking through grappling beam areas... :l

    Hold B (run button) to run until you start to leave blue shadows then press down (You need the speed booster upgrade). You should start shining rapidly. At this point you can press left, left-up, right, or right-up then A (jump button) to charge to that direction until you hit a solid wall.
