Question

Please tell me, why do Nintendo fans claim they want more new Nintendo IP's, and ends not supporting the IP's after that? You see the reason why new Nintendo IP's are so few and far between? It is because these fans are afraid to try games outside their comfort zone. The Wonderful 101 is a perfect example of this. Xenoblade Chronicles X, Codename STEAM, and Splatoon does not deserve the same fate.

    And it's even worse knowing when thoughtful posts will be buried in a sea of spam that is the Smash community so nobody is gonna read this.

    I read it, and I think you hit the nail on the head. While we might not have to worry about Splatoon because of the 'shooter craze' and all the critical acclaim, people just don't try supporting other games. If nobody buys The Mysterious Murasame Castle on the eShop, Takamaru may never be in a Smash game.

    I will never forgive these fans who passed on The Wonderful 101. That would show Sakurai that "nobody" was interested in wanting Wonder Red in Smash Bros and he may never be at this rate. And I do feel the same with Takamaru and other new IP characters in the future who will never see the light of day as playable in Smash because people still request for old and irrelevant characters.

    I should clarify that as old and irrelevant characters of an already repped series in Smash. If there is something Smash Bros needs in characters, it's series variety.
