People have compared people's air shadows on the pyrosphere to Ridley's shadow, and based on these comparisons on shadow size, Ridley is tiny! He would be as tall as Rosalina if not slightly taller.

No other features... His smash attacks literally hit at megaton levels and some of his moves have armor on them, which makes him flinch less often!

his smashes are not that powerful, they are not much higher than medium smashes, bowser and ike have much stronger smashes.. ridley would be insanely broken if were a beast in the air with 7 jumps.. with that many jumps you WONT stay on the ground.. all you would do is using the 7 jumps and attack in the air = OP..

Actually, Ridley didn't even jump at all in the shadow, all he really did was levitate. His levitating animation shown was 3 wing flaps, cutting down to 4 flaps shown. And when we first saw him move, the first two wing flaps were part of the animation of his movement, cutting down to the 2 flaps at the end which one was hard to see because he was already off screen. So he didn't jump 7 times

thats right.. he didnt jump at all.. he's floating an incredible long amount of time in MID AIR, while doing flaps.. THIS IS NOT CHARACTER movement. anti proofs #1- he floats LONG 2#- he floats a long distance, and cause he stops in mid air, the absolut distance is even longer

3#- characters (besides peach), especially winged characters DO NOT FLOAT, they do NOT have this mechanic , winged C. have more air jumps (3 in general, and had the gliding, which is cut) ..Why should they throw ALL this off board just because of ONE character, this doesnt make sense .. this is boss movement

I doubt this is boss movement, for one the animation is choppy, two, he flies over, hovers for two seconds, then flies again. That doesn't seem like a boss pattern, especially when compared to brawl where he hovers in place for a moment then attacks then moves back to his originall location. And three, if he is a boss, why have we got no confirmation when the game comes out in ONE month in Japan.

Four, A Nintendo representative confirmed Smash Run will have bosses that can show up and confirmed one of the bosses is Kraid. And having both Kraid and Ridley as bosses doesn't make sence because we don't know if the bosses in SR are exclusive to SR or if they are taken from other stages.

Five, they cut gliding for Pit, not for everyone as Palutena has a move called Jump Glide shown off in her reveal trailer.

if he is a playable, why have we got no confirmation... i can say that too... but FACT is , he was teased as a BOSS, not as a playable.. why not two bosses ? two very popular bosses presented differently .. kraid in SR .. ridley in his own stage

i know that palutena has this move.. its a up SPECIAL.. SPECIAL is the key word.. i'm talking about standard air mechanics and jumps NOT MORE.. why should the just cut the gliding for pit ? oO pit was just the example they showed that they cut this mechanic , cause he was the only winged character until this point. but ridley in the clip is JUST moving

.. not more, not using a special, not using an up air.. just weird floating LIKE a BOSS ..and why does gliding, stopping gliding not seem like boss movement? its not like they would copy ridleys brawl movement 1:1.. he seems more random and not like in brawl (float -> attack -> float -> attack) .. he acts more independant

You know what, why are we arguing? If Sakurai wants Ridley playable, he'll make him playable. If he wants him a boss he'll make him a boss. All of our arguments for and against Ridley are good, and we just have to wait and see, and we don't have to wait long since CoroCoro is coming out on the 12th and will reveal info. on current stages and characters, including the Pyrosphere. Then we will know.

yeah youre right.. its long time since i had a argument-based ridley talk, and not a rage-based one ^^ .. yeah that corocoro thing will be cool but i guess sakurai does not let them reveal ridley/pyrosphere. i think we maybe see him being announced as playable in the next trailer , if he is one

iim predicting a kind of villain-trailer .. but i more assume Ghirahim to be the newcomer of that trailer ^^

Yeah, a villain trailer where we get all the villains that are in revealed like Ganondorf, Wolf and more where they throw in a villain newcomer, and Ghirahim is probably the most likely Zelda newcomer, because the everyone else is a trophy, not important, or an assist trophy. And the Trophy Quz theory helps him a little along with Ridley, since it already is half right.

Yeah, but I honestly doubt Sceptile's inclusion, because Sakurai would have to know two games in advance, and that since Jiggles is most likely coming back, and we get two pokemon newcomers every game (slot wise) we will probably get one more, and I think Mewtwo is more likely to return than Sceptile being introduced.
