    I don't remember MQ that well... Try Song of Time? If you play SoT while standing on a block, it will not disappear out from under you. Maybe that will help. No way to get to that door and drop down from above?

    As a child, Play a song that you make up for the scarecrows at Lake Hylia. Then go back there as an adult and play it for him again. From that point on, the song you played will call the other Scarecrow.
