What just happened to me: Me:*puts up mesprit on gts & asks for rayquaza* *leaves to go & get a soda* *comes back & checks GTS* "Oh hey, someone already traded it." *takes sip of soda as pokemon comes in* *suddenly, SHINY RAYQUAZA!* *spit take*

People like Mesprit. Its not all that uncommon. I put a Beldum on GTS asking for a Milotic and got a shiny Milotic from it.
