Question

Anyone have advice for Mark of a Hero? Because I'm getting whupped out there. My equipment is as follows: Dios Axe+ Full High Rank Rath Soul armor Crit Eye +2 Razor Sharp Earplugs Evasion +1 I'm barely making it 5 minutes, and just the Ivory alone is brutalizing me.

    You need good G Rank equipment and mad skills. You're not ready if you still have High Rank equipment, don't rush into battle unprepared.

    What would you suggest then? I'm on 3DS and my only friend who has MH refuses to play it, so multiplayer isnt an option.

    You need either one of these combinations: - Best possible High Rank gear, and memorization of the patterns of the Ivory Lagiarcus, Beachydos, and Azure Rathian. -G Rank equipment

    Well, Abyssal Lagiacrus armor is one of the best sets in the game hahahaha. A good set to step from High to G Rank is Ceadus X, I'd start with that. Also, I'd use either a slime or dragon type weapon (Both elements are effective on a wide range of creatures)

    If you do use slime, just keep in mind; Brachy is mildly resistant to it

    I have done the village version with B.Diablos U equipment and the best possible high rank Lagia Hunting Horn. It took me 40 minutes and a couple of tries. I had no idea that the monsters were at G rank strength, back then.

    You don't need g rank equipment at all, as I was able to finish with only high rank gear. Try practicing against the ivory in the first urgent, taking care not to get hit from its major lightning attacks. Always try to run to its left (your right), as approaching that way is usually a lot safer then running at it the other way. You can also flash bomb it, to buy some time to heal/sharpen.

    Well, Hong is right, it can be done with a high level of skill. It's just easier with G Rank stuff xD

    Get High Grade Earplugs,it'll save you :p but if you want a G rank set,then I recommend using Jaggi X
