I love this game! I have almost 500 hours in the Wii U version and there is still more to do. I just got a 3ds, and downloaded the demo... I feel so sorry for anyone playing without a circle pad pro. ESPECIALLY for the plesioth hunt! I'm sorry, but the standard water controls are not good. On a related note, this demo does a bad job at representing the full game.(1/2)

    I'm doing just fine without a CPP. The virtual d-pad on the touch screen is enough for me.

    I felt that way about the Wii U demo, but it's so much worse here. to give it credit, the lagombi fight is PERFECT for the demo. It is just the right length, and a fairly easy fight tp ease you in. The Plesioth fight, on the other hand, is awful! fighting a difficult monster like that with these underwater controls is frustrating, to say the least. I'm still gonna get this game on the 3ds.XD(2/2)

    I found the lack of a circle pad pro not that annoying. I mean, the consequence of it means you need a lot more reach to your buttons, in which I will be fine with the touch pad's dpad.

    ok I'm sorry, I just found that it felt very awkward to play. I might like it better on an XL, I don't know. 3ds feels very small to me.
