Gunners, which do you prefer, light or heavy bowguns? I think I prefer heavy, as with higher base damage they seem more ammo efficient. I haven't played around with Light ones for a while though.

    The improved mobility and rapid-fire feature of the Light Bowguns seems more appealing to me. I only use Heavy for speed-killing extremely large monsters that don't move very much. As in, Elder Dragons. And besides, overall, I prefer Bow anyway.

    I'm a guy who, when gunning, uses bows, but I do have a couple of Light Bowguns and Heavy Bowguns. I only use the Master Kettleblower for fun, as I really like the crouching fire ability you get with Heavy Bowguns.

    I'm legitimately terrible with bows. It takes me forever to kill anything and I can't aim arc shots worth beans XD Also, what mechanic makes LBG more suited for elemental shots?

    i'd agree damage wise with LBG vs HBG, but function wise ammo will still do what it's supposed to. specifically rapid fire crag&the ability to ko a monster. if pierce is the part breaker, it works well, but admittedly as a LBG user, i have better luck with pierce underwater. in regards to normal, you'll get no arguements from me, even with rapid fire. i just like having more time to react with LBG
