To Meadow: Yes, I am aware how to change classes, I was leveling up Freelancer at the time to get mimic. To Trey: It says in the Enigmatic Writings that Qada tortured him after Atlernis saved Egil from falling into the lava, and then Airy did even more damage to his psyche by killing Edea in front of him and gloating about it.

No, no. In D's Journal (Enigmatic Writings/Alternis's journal before he was Ringabel) He gets cripling injuries from falling into the Lava around Hartschild after Edea attacks him, Qada fishes him out and tortures him for saving Egil. Later Victor brings him back to full health and he's sent to kill Airy, only to see Airy kill Edea in front of him. That's when he loses his memory.
