  • For me, I would absolutely want to live for a thousand years. The longer the better. People say you'd have to watch your loved ones die but I think you'd get over it after a few hundred years. You have more time to see and do everything in the galaxy. Explore and go on adventures

  • I wouldn't want to live that long. We find beauty and meaning in the world because they're so little of it. And humans are so industrious because of our short lives. If you lived for a thousand years I think you'd lose you application for life and the dark things you've seen would overpower you.

  • I would a thousand years is a lot of time to do alot of benefiting deed, medical research ect imagine what shepherd could do with a thousand year life span plus ness the krogan live over 100 years wrex mentions about "1450 years if you've been keeping track" which means he's possibly 1500 years old or older

  • It's not really part of the conversation but Wrex is about 800 years old. He was talking about the genophage which he mentioned has been going on for 1476 years. But rarely a krogan lives that long, like Okeer was alive during the krogan rebellions about 1500 years ago but I did say over 1000 years.

  • but by the way he said keeping track as in he was there since genopage and tracking the years

  • It's just a sore spot for Wrex as it is with every Krogan. Wrex's father was alive when the genophage was released though.

  • I can understand the desire to live a super long life, but if you lived with a condition like Joker's or my Cerebral Palsy you might not be so wanting to live with it. Though it might be possible to live long enough to find a cure on the other side coin

  • Yes that's a very real point. If you're quality of life wasn't the best you may not want to extend it. But in the future maybe more can be done to help alleviate some of that suffering

  • Yeah, even in my own lifetime over 30 yrs there's been things developed that has helped to practically a normal life.
