    It was both a good idea and an incredibly stupid idea. It made for an interesting story, but caused you to basically replay the whole game 4 times.

    I really wish people would stop complaining about "replaying the game 4 times". It was an incredibly smart and efficient way to go. Not only do you still get huge chunks of JP and EXP from the boss fights, the game gave you the freedom to defeat Luxendarc in whatever order you wanted without altering the game too much. It was meant for the players who didn't sit in Florem for 5 hours EXP grinding.

    @Hanners they could have at least given you new enemies and bosses to fight, instead of rematching the same 4 monsters for the crysrals. Like I said, great from a story perspective, stupid from a gameplay perspective.

    I think some of them complains. But if they look more close at it. Yeah, some side story of the chapters are the same, but when chapters go on they change. You'll get to see some different situations, and some perspective of the bosses. Plus you'll get to see some good boss fight when you fight them by groups some are hard to beat. You'll get some idea of good job combinations.

    ...and you'll need think of how to beat them. Imagine, there's only chapter 4 and the next chapter is the final. If you play the game straight forward, you're job level and its abilities learned is not even halfway to its maximum, unless you grind most of the time and with extensive patience. All in all, its not that bad. The story and gameplay mechanics are great with a taste of how BS works.

    Some people like it, some people don't, but I'm ok with it for the most part. The story and character development in the last few chapters were great, but they could've made SOMETHING about the world different. Like, some towns could be in different locations or climates, heck the whole world map could've been something else entirely! But nooo... Oh well, though.

    in my personal opinion it was not a genius idea to make people replay the whole thing 4 times i didnt enjoy it and no you dont get exp from the bosses at least most of them i like the game but it comes to the point where it just gets annoying i would at least like something diffrent not braev the templar or ominas 8 times in a row ...... its down to the point where i dont even wanna finish it

    dont get me wrong im a huge rpg fan ive stuck with pokemon for well since the beggining and im not bad either and i actually dont mind grinding but to me the whole crystal thing is just lazyness im sorry it just feels lazy yea there are diffrent situations situations that do the same thing and those situations are all in those strange bravely default esc cutscenes so it doesnt seem that great at l

    The "replaying the game four times" thing is way too overblown. It doesn't even take very long to beat the crystal bosses again, and the extra bosses are great. And aside from that, the game is incredible, not to mention has some of the best music and visuals in a game in a long time.
