Steel Diver: Sub Wars Community

I unlocked another new sub! This one looks better rounded and I've seen a few higher level players actually use it. It is slow though, won't be chasing people down much, and its reload time could be better. Still, better than the last one.

  • I'll guess 99 based on your comment under sampsons golden eagle shirt post, I think I've run into you online at some point. The medium range subs seem to be the least popular range group for some reason, besides the obvious garfish popularity. I'm looking forward to trying the garfish advanced though, and the big walrus of coarse.

  • The riptide is one of the best subs in the game.

  • Any crew tips? Always expanding my resources and aproaches, it seems maneuverable enough already barring submerged speed.

  • if you want tips come to me im always testing new crew...and i've found this is my best crew and stats

  • I would up the dive and surface to 10 and the health to 7. If you have an extra crew space you could reduce the reload speed.

  • Balancing crew space is always the trick. I guess you don't find the speed a problem extra abilities are really handy, and I find it hard to know when they have greater impact than stat boosts, especially if it is something I'm not using very frequently.

  • You don't really need speed. All you really need is a good dive and surface speed and you should be set.

  • I'm still working on having good acuracy when trying to dodge and shoot at the same time.

  • That is the one problem when you play evasive.

  • I haven't tested or reviewed the Sonar Buster yet but this could be a sub to try it on. You need to be able to dodge, dissapear and get out of their line of sight by the time your visable again for it to be really useful it seems to me.

  • What I do is I will take one quick second to line up my shot and then go evasive because with a dive and surface speed of ten is that you can side fairly quickly.

I recomennd 2 brutes, 1 diver and mechanic

    Yeahs1
  • That is close to what I've got now. I think I'm running Brutes B and D, diver D and masker A on my riptide at the moment, might be masker B. Anyway I've been working with my Walrus mostly lately. (Sub backlog)
