For me when I play male Shepard I use the default look since it's a face model. If I'm playing story, meaning I'm doing a play through that makes sense thematically to the story then I'm earthborn sole survivor romancing liara all paragon. But if I'm playing custom then war hero makes more sense and I prefer tali. Still mostly paragon but those renegade moments when someone tries to mess with shep

What do you mean? Shepard is a woman. She's a colony kid like me, and she's tough. She does whatever it takes. But she's fair. Sometimes sacrifices have to be made and she makes the hard decisions other people can't.

I play femshep too, partly to romance Traynor. When I do I usually do a custom look. I also make her blond because natural blond is almost extinct in ME (Sanders is one of the few). I also usually reserve my renegade games for femshep.

Oh you meant the whole background, I'll do my current one, he is a spacer, he fell in love with Liara during Saren, then fell in love with Miranda, he continued his relationship with the Cererbus Cheerleader. He usually takes Garrus and James on missions, he uses a m-25 hornet and a m-22 eviscerator, and is an engineer class

I use normal Male Shepard. Normal everything. FULL RENEGADE. Same with FemShep, but I have a custom look for her that I always use.

I have played various kinds of Shepards but I've found the character background to be useless post ME1. *sad* I've normally stuck with the same kind of character with varying degrees of ruthlessness.

It's mentioned in Mass Effect 3 depending on your background you get slightly different dialogue, but mostly it's for you. You know what your characters history is

My shep is male, tried to make him look as close to myself as possible. War hero, earthborn, Engineer, full Paragon, (I always thought Renagade was more popular) In a relationship with Tali. Some renagade choices DO need tto be made though. Such as punching that Quarian admiral after almostt killing you.

Nope, renegade gets more press, but the stats released by bioware showed the majority of people play paragon

male, renegade, history is military birth. i'm writing my own RPG story as it progresses this new playthrough. so far Shepard love ashley, but he wants the mission first, until ash gets hurt and he understand his love for her. he hates laira though... she drives me nuts.

Male or female matters not. Shepard rules all the same. I've done both. I prefer Paragon and it's a pleasant surprise to find that most players do too. Renegade has it's rare moments though. Regardless, I tend to quit playing right at the start of the final mission. You know why. :-)
