Sweet Sakurai's! YES! This is what I wanted for Smash WiiU. More than 4 players! This is what all local players have dreamed about since Super Smash Bros. and Almost every Multiplayer game ever made. More players so even your whole family can play without having to 'Pass the controller'. Things are going to get extremely hetic with Many Many Smashers on the WiiU fields!
Sakurai, you might as well include Jigglypuff's page in the site. I mean you didn't even try to hide her in the 50 facts direct and she's a default character in the Wii U version so it makes sense. Just saying. That aside...
8 PLAYER SMASH!!!!! HYYYYYYYPPPPEEEEEE!!!!!!!
I think this a good thing, because the power of Smash Bros is the multiplayer and having 8 players in perfect stages is really awesome. Battles will ne dynamic as never seen before. This also player to play as teams of 2-2-2, 3-3 and 4-4 in the same stage. This is one the most interesting additions to Super Smash Bros.
I wonder Why you didn´t include the 8 player mode on 3DS but hey, I am ok whit that. At least I can use 1 gamepad, 1 wii u pro, 1 wii pro, a 3DS and 4 gamecube controllers. you saved me the hasle to buy another wii u pro controller. now, where are my gamecube controllers?
This is going to be a more interesting Smash mode for sure. What I really want to know is if two GCC Adapters can be used at once (USB Ports on the front and back of console) and allow eight players on GCC that way.
Honestly, I'm not sure how much I like the idea of 8 people on the same map at the same time. It's definitely an impressive feature, but it doesn't seem like the execution will be as good as the concept.
@Glord ill be happy to pay for mewtwo alone rather than pay @60 extra bucks for a chracter technically the price must be much lower and i have the demo so im getting exp at same time so i dont care im a good enough player and now all i care about is getting mewtwo at low cost!
its official the wii u version is better than the 3ds version p.s i knew ridley would be a stage hazard at least he gets to be on your side so its not that bad

what im still would like is to be able to take my gamepad to my friends house(with a wii u) and be able to play with it as another controller just like the others!
